GeneLab Analysis Working Groups (AWG) hosted an open workshop on November 10th and 12th showcasing the latest discoveries in space biology and omics. A total of 330 participants joined to hear compelling science talks from keynote and invited speakers, along with research presentations from AWG members. Each day ended with networking breakouts for AWG members to connect with the public and served as a way to recruit new minds to add to our existing group of talented scientists. The networking sessions recruited more than 50 new AWG members, including undergraduate and graduate students, post-doctoral scientists, associate professors, and researchers worldwide.
